Fun Langkawi Trip ^^

Our breakfast in the hotel this morning was terrible as it don hav much choices and the bread don even served with those normal butter cubes like the other hotel do, but instead, they only serve one whole butter block and we nid to scoop onto our plate. Anyway, after our so called terrible breakfast, we plan to go Underwater World for our 1st stop since its the nearest to our hotel... not even 1km away...lol... and since now is still off-peak season.. so there are not many ppl actually. But there's bad news oso, coz some of the marine fellows are so lazy since there is not much noise, except for the active sea lion which keep doin the same "u-turn" action over and over again... lol... and it is kinda spooky inside the dark room too... Grrrhh... but too bad when we come out from underwater world, its raining, coz we were suppose to go to the Langkawi famous Cable Car which is located at the Oriental Village near berjaya beach resort.

However, since its raining, we went to Awana Porto Malai in pantai tengah to hav a spin 1st. Surprisingly, "may b god heard my prayer" hahas... the rain stopped when we reach there. and it is juz a few KMs away. It is extremely windy at the port of Awana Porto Malai, the wind even transform my hair from flat to grass look... =.= and since its stopped raining, so we plan to go to the Langkawi Cable car which is 27Km away from porto malai hoping it is not raining there... but when we are on the way from porto malai, we saw a heavy rain across the island which coming towards us, lucky I grab a photo of it... which is so obvious tat the rain is coming...

While on the way to oriental village, we pass by paddy fields and Langkawi Lagoon and the airport as well, when we are passing by airport which the runway is juz right next to our road, so I stopped by the road side and grab my EOS and snap a few pics while the plane is landing... Weee~~ the shot is so nice... XD While we reach Oriental Village, its ady 12.30pm... then we walk straight to the Langkawi Cable Car ticket counter, but its a long long queue at the ticket counter since its open at 12pm, cant even imagine if its a peak season which is next week, it could be a whole long dragon queue. XD Ok, enuf for tat, while we are at the peak of the mountain, as its juz finish raining, the mists filled up the whole mountain top of Gunung Mat Cincang which at 1st I tot it shud be cold but... its not...lol... I was greatly desperating to go to the skybridge, but sad to say tat, it is under constuction... I was so dissapointed as I don even noe when is my next chance to go to Langkawi again... Skybridge is the only attraction up on the hill as well as the sea view though. Its not cold up there despite there is lots of mist around u tat u can even touch it. XD

After we got back down to the foot of the mountain, we are hungry ady, but not much choices of food around oriental village, so we decide to go to the Langkawi Crocodile Farm and see is there any restaurant along the way to crocodile farm. However, there arre no restaurant along the way till we reach the farm. So we bought ice-cream to eat 1st. When we bought our ticket, happy to hear tat there will be crocodile show starting soon though the smell of the farm is kinda awful... lol... but the show is quite nice though.

I only manage to watch 1 show as we nid to rush to other places of interest after tat, but b4 we go to our next stop, we went to this well known waterfall named Temurun Waterfall which is the longest waterfall in Langkawi, but...... when we reach there, I cant even hear the sound of the falls... it shud be kinda loud since its so tall, when we are almost reach the falls, we notice tat there were no water coming down from the top of the mountain. Its another disappointment... =.= So we went straight to our next stop and plan to skip lunch since there are no foods around us in the Kampung area. We went to Tanjung Rhu to hav a look of the area since there are plenty of time and heard that the mangrove and the beach is the main attraction in this area, but to me, there's nothing much though. So we decided to hav a refreshment of coconut... but the kakak gav me kinda old coconut where the meat is so so tough... swt... I told her "tak nak terlalu lembut dan keras"... but but... nvm... lol... We notice tat there are lots of mangrove trees around the area... and there were a guy offering me to go for a 2 hours mangrove tour + 1 hour sunset cruise... but when I heard the price which is RM200 for 3 person, I was like, ok... Y don I juz drive around the mangrove trees and go to pasir hitam for sunset view... haha... After all, nothing much on the mangrove. Besides, I don even noe wat we gonna do to the mangrove for tat 2 hours, then I imagining will there be any free crabs freshly catch from the mangrove at this price? Since alot ppl said crabs likes to hide in the mangroves... XD

Ok, tats all for Tanjung Rhu, Then we head straight to the Langkawi Wildlife Park which is around 15Km away, while on the way to langkawi Wildlife Park, then only I realize we lost our Map... left it behind at Tanjung Rhu , but nvm, the Map is only for info bout the places, I'm relying on my phone's GPS the whole day tat takes me wherever I go...^^ Its very fun at Langkawi Wildlife Park... I get to feed almost all the animals, though with nuts, fruits and vegetables only. As I cant feed some of the wild animals as it is carnivorous, and I don wan to loose my hand this way... XD I love the little monkey and rabbits which plays with me with his banana and carrot for the rabbits... lol... cute little fellow... When we finish the tour around the jungle wildlife park... XD

We went back up to Pasir Hitam Seaside for sunset view... when we reach there, its ady 6.30pm, but the sun don seems to set yet, but it finally set at 7.10pm, but very very very slow... lol... though its still bright at the moment when we leave at 7.30.

So nice... =)

After the sunset, we went straight down to Kuah to get some duty free stuffs... coz we afraid tat if we go for our dinner 1st, the Duty free shopping mall will closed at 10pm ady. When we reach the Teow Soon Huat Shopping Mall, its ady 8.30pm, so we grab some chocs and beers for my dad as he asked me to buy for him since its reli cheap at there which is RM3.00 per bottle while Tesco is selling at RM12 in KL... and bought a Liquor Chocs at only RM33 which KL is selling for RM80...the price is big difference wei... XD After grabbing all the stuffs, in total, its almost RM150... but forgotten the exact price.. but i juz noe tat its expensive... I bought some for my frens too...^^ After tat, we went to this Orkid Seafood Restaurant and ordered marmite pork, a vege, normal big prawns and of coz my favourite crabs!!! But very expensive at RM6 100gm. but the the service from the boss there is very good, he even gave us a Tiger Prawn for free which is huge. ^^ and as for the crabs, its made from salted egg. Delicious... but kinda spicy. After our meal, we went the eagle square for some night shots... nice lighting they hav there... but nothin much bsides the eagle... XD We head back to our hotel for some fresh shower and some rest after that... Its ady 11pm, but its not the end yet... at 12am, we went to Holiday Villa Beach for a walk and look at the dark sky filled up with lots lots of stars... so nice... Then we put some chairs and a table out to the beach and sit there to enjoy the night sky with out snacks tat we brought...=D We leave Holiday Villa Resort at 1.30am and back to our hotel coz i'm having headache ady... dono y... may b coz I've been driving the whole day non-stop... but its a very fun day though... ^^
