Me, as a proud Libran,
went on an international sea cruise trip last weekend with families and relative.

Star Cruise Name : Superstar Libra

Ship Facts:

Year Build: 1988

Weight: 42,285 tonnes

Length: 216.3m

Width: 32.64m

Decks: 10

Crews: 740

Passenger Capacity: 1,472

History:

The vessel entered operation with Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) in 1988 as Seaward. The vessel was renamed Norwegian Sea in 1997. In 2005, the vessel was transferred to the Star Cruises fleet and renamed SuperStar Libra. By Wikipedia =P

This trip, which make me wakes up so early in the morning,

hmmm... I think around 5.30am,

And I was still BLUR @@ that moment~

So we leave our house to my relative's house at around 6.15am if I'm not wrong,

& I thought we gonna be late for the bus,

but thanks god we're just in time as the bus reach about the same time as us.

And so,

We departed at around 7am to Kepong to pick up some other tourist,

and at the same time, we had our breakfast at Kepong, near Tesco.

After the breakfast, we of course, depart straight to Penang.. Lol..

On the way there, I'm gonna say its SUPER COLD and BORIIIIIIiiing

So I turn on my IPOD and watch whatever I have inside it.. LOL

But while I was watching my IPOD,

a sudden thought of having an IPAD came into my mind. @@

You know? An "A" and an "O" makes a BIG difference...

Coz its IP"O"D & IP"A"D

The Ipod screen was juz too small for entertainment !!! LOL!!

See that ?? I wish I had an IPAD, it would be so much more delicious. =P

But there are Cons though,

imagine bringing along a 9.7" device with you

as a music player while walking on the street,

where are you gonna hide it ?? LOL!!

But having both IPOD TOUCH & IPAD would Slurrrrpyyy !! Lol~

But..

Like my mom always said,

"Who dono your mom is a woman..."

Aihs... everything is about money .. ==

Alright... Alright... let's get back to the topic...

Its not about IPOD vs IPAD now.. LOL!!

Oh yaa.. Its bout the cruise trip

So.............Errrrrrr........ Where were we ??

OHH Yeaaa !

So , we reach Penang at
(I forget about the time as I was asleep halfway) .. LOL

'Let's skip some Not Important Parts and straight to Penang Island..'

Ok...so , it was raining...

Very heavy Rain at the noon,

Where we went to this Snake Temple at Bayan Lepas,

But it was heavy rain and I was sleepy, sooo...

I chose to stay in the Bus,

However, look at this

(Actually, I know shes Gan Jeong.. Muahahaa... ),
I wonder how heavy it weighs.. @@

Though I only carries one Python on my body with my dad in Bali a month ago Which is so cooooool... :D

and not so heavy rain in the afternoon..

So we went to the food court and have some Char Kuey Teow & Fruit Rojak,

Both Penang famous Delicacy..

After that, we went straight to the Cruise Terminal,

See, its not a good weather.. and there's people covering themselves with ...
was it BLANKET ??? xD

And there was our Cruise next to the small jetty.. Lol..

At first , I thought Superstar Libra was a Huge Ship like the size of at least a Superstar Leo ? Which was now named Norwegian Spirit, and it can accommodate 1,996 passengers with 965 Crews.

There's once I was shown with a picture of Libra,

and that is why I said it was a HUGEEEEE ship.

But, when I saw it with my own eyes,

YES... it is still a HUGE ship,

but not a HUGEEEEEEEEE ship... LOL!!

So here's the difference :

This was the so called HUGEEEEEEEEEE Libra... LOL!!

And.... the HUGE Libra... LMAO !!

BIGGGGGGGG difference eh ?? xD

Remember I mentioned that this ship was built in 1988 earlier ?
So, this means the Cruise was already serving for 23 Years..
(and I was like ..... Woahhhh... we gonna be aboard on an OLD SHIP @@)
It is also one of the oldest cruise fleets in the Star Cruise Family,
even the Cruise I was aboard back in 1995 , the Star Pisces
was built in 1990. but this ship was 1988 man.. no joke... LOL!!

So, back to the topic again... why was I always leaving the Topic..
(Because I just love doing research !! xDDD)

While we were inside the Terminal,

We waited for a long time for us to get registered.

The Star Cruise Schedule

OK,

After waited for about 1 hour,

and finally Ngor Jieh finish registering all of us.. xD

This is how the Star Cruise System goes,

Step 1: Register at the counter

Step 2: We will each get a Room Card,

or should I say the SPECIAL Card which will be used to pay for the facilities
that we use in the cruise, the Dinner, the Breakfast & Exchanging IC.

Step 3: We will go through a counter whereby we will need to handover our I.C. to the cruise staff in order to board the cruise until when we gonna disembark from
the cruise then only they will return us our I.C.

That is such a big responsibility for the Cruise Management.

Imagine what if all the I.C. were lost .. @@

Ok, I couldn't even Imagine what would happen.. LOL~

Anyway,

When we are about to board the cruise,

Its a Long Long Queue...

And so...

Its snapping time again !! Wahaha...

As you can see.. it is a SAD SUNSET i would say. =(

Was it bit blur at the Penang Bridge ?
(I doubt it was raining there at that time although there's no rain at the jetty.)

It looks Huge eh ? Cant Imagine if its a Queen Mary 2.. LOL!

In fact, there's one time Queen Mary ahoy at Swettenham Pier.

and you will be SURPRISED ... LOL!!

Length : 1,132ft VS 709ft

Did you observe the difference ?

QM2 was about 4 times the size of Libra.. O.O

Imagine how big the difference is when they were both next to each other,

However, I believe if Queen Mary 2 once again dock at Swettenham pier,

I don think there's gonna be space for Libra even to fit in.. LOL!! xD

Ok ~ Now let's get back to the photos,

While we're onboard,

Of course, the 1st thing we do is,

CHECK THE ROOM !!!

And~ Wallah.. Our Room, I'm sleeping with my dad.. :D

Ok, I know the room are quite small.. that is why it can fit 1,472 passenger
Wasn't it ?? Lol~

And here's the Toilet... Tadaaa~

Alright~ Alright~~I know its even smaller..
But for me, its fine though... lol..
And it has Hot water !! As in ~ Very HOT water !!
And ~~ Also a 1200w Hair Dryer !! LOL!!

And......Wooooooo~ A tiny little 14" Cute TV at the corner.
(I realize this only when I turn my head back to the main door~ LOL !!)

After unloading all our luggage,

Its time for dinner ...

Our room was at Deck 3,

And the restaurant was located at Deck 9...

It was an international course buffet~ Yummy~

and they serves Mussels as well !!
Il mio preferito ! :D

Anyone wants some mussels ?? E 'solo così delizioso! :D

The dinner is quite ok for me though.. not too bad, and not too good..

Which means.. So So ~ =P

Well, after the dinner

We went up to deck 10,

But that time was still raining drizzling though,

However, I manage to get a few snaps before departing,

The Cute Tug Boat that's gonna pull our ship out ~

Since it was still drizzling,

So we went back down to deck 5 where the Casino is located,

But of course, I didn't gamble.. "wink :P

I just go in walk one round, have some free drinks then come back out..

Surprisingly when I came out,

Me and my relatives realize there's a show in Star Club !
(Well, they call it Star Club, but its not clubbing though)

Although there are "Clubbing" in the cruise, but~~
we'll talk bout that later. Lol~

Let's get back to this Star Club 1st..

It was a Belly Dance Show,

but to me it was more than just a Belly Dance though..

and to Vivien, its more to the Porny Belly Dance. LOL!!

Hot Sexayyyyy body baby !! =P

Some dance ??? But I not sure what they call it.. Bellybatic perhaps ? Lol..

And~~~ the couple dance as well.. Sweet !!

I think there were times the guys was doing something more like a

Acrobatic I would say ?? LOL!!

And there was this "Ah Gua" came out after the Belly Dance show

Was playing with OUT OF FOCUS light effect when the Guys squat down. Lol~

After the show,

We all sat down on a chair outside the casino,

Why?

Because the Cruise was swaying left and right...

This was due to the Cruise had comes to a stall at the middle of the sea,

And the Waves are quite rough at that time,

And we all was like sway & walk from left to right & right to the left,

However, we are still keen to go up to Deck 10 for some fresh air from the sea,

and also, the sound of the sea for me.. :D

But all I could hear was the sound coming from the waves of the

SWIMMING POOL,

As the Cruise Sways, the pool was producing Mini Tsunami I called it.. LOL!!

But,

After the ship starts its engine & move again,

Everything backs to normal.. LOL!

After that,

Our plan is to go for clubbing at Deck 8's Boomers of course !

Since I saw their poster showing the CLUBBING things which is kinda tempting

while Vivien & Angela was joining me as well,

However,

it was quite disappointing,

When I was almost there, yes, i can feel the Boom Boom Pow... lol

but ~~~ when I walked inside the club,

It was like Bang Bang Bong Bong !!

its just, not my style ... It was like those Malay kinda Clubbing,

Totally not R&B .. @@

and a lot of fellows uncle~~

So we decided to go for the KTV...

But ~~ That so called KTV was...

an open KTV~

whereby everyone eating there will be listening to what you sings..

That is juz so surprising.. It was a restaurant to what I think.

So, plan failed again~~

So we went down to this Ocean Palace Restaurant join our family,

Guess what, one little cup of Water cost RM3 bucks @@

and it was the size of a coffee cup... Gosh~~

And after that,

Everyone was planning to head back to their cabin for....

Sleep of course.. lol..

but except for me, Vivien, Angela & Carmen though,

We plan to head up to deck 10 to observe stars ,, teeheee..
(Though the stars like playing HIDE & SEEK with us as the cloud keeps comes and go..lol)

We also had chit-chatting moment of course..

Quite enjoy the chatting with them,

We talks a lot, from around 1am till 3am i think .. Lol~

Here some Tips,

NS, Young time, School time, Relationships, ~ Bla Bla Bla~ LOL!

and Angela told us that we played together since we're very small,
but I don know how small am I that time though ... LOL!!

And so at about 3am, Vivien and Angela went back to their Cabin,

While me and Carmen were staying on the top deck till the sunrise..

I thought the sun will be going to rise like a Sunshine,

But sad to say that,

There are too many clouds blocking the sunrise, ==

Night VS Morning.. LOL~

The Lonely Tanker ~

After some disappointment and some photoshooting,

We head down to Deck 4 for breakfast time.. Lol~
This time, with Pork Bacon !! OH Yeah !

Healthy breakfast eh ? LOL~

After the breakfast,

Me and Carmen went to the Souvenir Shop to get some Mini Cards,

and then head back to the Cabin for shower and brush teeth of course.. Hehehe~

After packing up everything,

Its time to disembark,

But , I was surprise that all 1,472 passengers on-board
are only allow to use 1 gate to get down from the Cruise,

I was like WTH ?????

Even an Airbus A380 with 555 Passengers have 3 gates to get off from the plane.

So we wait and wait and waited for a long time,

~~~~~~~~~After about 2 hours~~~~~~~~~~

Finally, we are off the cruise..

( I was like... Hurray !!! ==

Have a nice day and I'm not coming back again for another round.. LOL!! )

Okay, this was my experience in the Cruise for a night...

I not sure Should I say it was good or bad.. or should it be Moderate ?

1 day is enough for me to be bored on this Cruise.. LOL~

but its a good experience though.

While on the way on Penang Bridge back to the mainland,

We saw our cruise ! Like a tiny little ant.. LOL!!

Ohh ya, last but not least,

There's a 103 days Queen Elizabeth Cruise Around the World

that had just stop by in Port Klang few days ago..

And I was wondering how they survive in it ?? LOL!!

Imagine what are they gonna do inside there for four months .. LOL!

The age of passengers & price??

It is noted that the average age of world-cruise passengers aboard the

Elizabeth’s maiden journey is 68, and fares on the 2,068-passenger

vessel for the world cruise range from about

$18,000 (Approx. RM54,468) per person

to a tad shy of $200,000 (Approx. RM605,200) per person

for the upper aerie of Queen’s Grille suites,

including even some duplex apartments.

For the Kings, their journey on the Queen will run about

$70,000 (Approx. RM211,820)

for the nearly four-month voyage,

excluding the inevitable add-ons such as

excursions, wines and spirits, and expenditures for souvenirs and

memorabilia.

WTH ?? Even Queen Elizabeth 2 world cruise

can cost that sky high for a life on the sea,

cant imagine what is the price for

Queen Mary 2 world cruise that is coming on 2012.
