Finally... My own iPhone 4 !!! =D

My Apple® iPhone™ 4 Black 16GB with Griffin™ Reveal Etch Graphite.

Been using iPhone 4 all the while, But it is not mine.. Lol But now, Wallah !

I'm using both iPod Touch 4 32GB and iPhone 4 16GB ! =D
(But i'm not trying to LC here .. Sorry if I make you think so, but its juz FYI .. =P)

Well,

This would be a long story why I'm using iphone 4.. Lol~

Actually,

I've plan to get a new phone,

but was low in budget ( < RM1k),

So I decided to buy android at 1st,

However,

As usual la,, things changed.. xD

Since I'm working ady, so I increased my budget ( > RM1k) xD

So yeah, got iPhone 4 in the end .

Though it is not brand new,

2nd hand, but looks like brand new though ! Wheee~

And its juz 16GB .. (Not enough for me) .. o.O Lol~

Anyway, i still have ipod touch 32GB with me, (I'm not selling it ! ) xD

So 16GB is not a problem for me :)

Well, I've tried using few iPhone 4 since I got the 1st one from my friend,

It is supposedly an US set with Gevey SIM a.k.a. Turbo SIM,

It looks something like this:

What I can say about the Gevey SIM is just,

MA FAN !! SUPER MA FAN !!

Coz it has a procedure to unlock the phone

and it was like,

I have to follow this procedure

each time I turn on the phone. "LOL~" o.O

Procedure of GEVEY SIM:

Step 1: Once 1 bar of line appears, Dial "112" and end the call, (Still no service)

Step 2: Go into settings and switch on & off "Airplane Mode", (Still no service)

Step 3: Take out the SIM Card, and insert it again, (Still No Service)

Step 4: and Wallah ! The service appears !! Yellow Man comes in ~ xD

( DIGI, always the smarter choice .. =P )
(But... Sometimes too smart become bit cacat.. sorry Digi.. I din mean anything here.. Lol~ xP)

Ok~ Get back to the Topic, not about promoting DIGI now.. xD

Now ,

I'm using Ori Digi set from my Bro-in law since he get the new iPhone 4 White,

and ....... I loves the phone !! :D

Lol~ And since I've updated to the latest iOS 4.3.3 last night,

No more battery issue ! :D

Things i done with it since the last full charge,

Unplug at 100% yesterday 12pm (07 May 11),

Phones Calls - 2 Hours

SMS - 30++

Camera Shots - A few

Gaming - Half hour (Angry Birds & Real Racing 2)

GPS - Few Minutes

WIFI - 1 hour (Using Whatsapp, FB & Foursquare)

Music - Nil (Using iPod Touch .. =P)

At 5pm (08 May 11) , left 39% of battery.

Result : Well, consider quite good for an iPhone.

But indeed, I heard iOS 4.2.1 had the most in terms of battery life,

should I revert to it ?? Hmmm~~~

Well,

There were battery issues last time since the 1st launch of iOS 4.3,

and since then, Apple tries to fix it..

Now, what I can say is just,

Well Done, APPLE !! =D

Next Target : Perhaps Ipad 2 & Macbook Pro ??

(Should I?? Lol~)

But of course, have to get new DSLR Camera 1st !! =D

Ohh ya, FYI...

i've got a few cases since I've got the iPhone 4,

Let me intro you to my world of casing.. Lol~ *Jus kidding.. xD

Here were my criteria for choosing a case:

- Help with signal attenuation

- Offer some level of drop protection without turning my thin and sleek phone into a something that looks like Batman might hook it to his utility belt.. xD

- Give my phone a little flair, since the original design was now going to be covered

And most importantly,
- Allow me to use my 3rd party Headphones & Amplifier and Car AUX speaker system without having to remove the case !!!

So here goes ,

1st Case: Melkco™ Ltd Edition Jacka Type Leather Case (Blue/White LC)

Which is a NoNo to me,

Why ?

Coz the case doesn't suits me and it may affects the power button to become loose.
(Which I kena before .. and super annoying ~)

2nd Case : SwitchEasy™ Capsule Rebel

Well, this case was not bad (Design only.. xD) actually,

Too bad it has dual layers that cant even allow me to plug my headphones.. o.O

Plus ~ It is just too hard to take the phone out of the case,

taking the phone out of this case even broke my nails !! Darn it~

So, a NoNo also .. o.O

3rd Case: SwitchEasy™ Colours (White)

This case has advantages & disadvantages,

Advantages : Easy to put the phone in and out, Good Grip, Nice Design & allow me to use 3rd party Headphone with big plug size.. =P

Disadvantages : Bad Quality, Skin peels off when its getting aging (3 months or less), Expensive for such plain casing

My iPod Touch is still using the Black version though.
(Since October till now and the skin is getting rougher like snake skin.. o.O)

So, NoNo for my iPhone !! =P

4th Case : Incipio™ NGP Matte

This case is superb in-terms of quality !!

The toughness is superb, grip is superb, holding it on hand also feels superb.. Lol~

I love this case, but ..

too bad I can't plug in my earphone as the hole is too deep and small . . =(

But i'm still keeping it as spare since I got it free from my bro-in-law .. :D

(Last but not least)
5th Case : Griffin™ Reveal Etch Graphite

My favourite casing of all !! Griffin Reveal Etch !!

Slim, light , covers & protects the whole body including buttons !!

(Except for the "Home Button" though .. Lol~ xP)

and yet, I'm still able to plug my big 3.5mm jack into the earphone port !!

Whats more, it is made of carbon fibre !! Thats why it is light ,

But expensive though, I got it at RM75 through online seller,
(Though Apple store selling RM124.. Lol~ o.O)

Ohh yaa, Actually I did protect the "Home Button" when using this case.

I've got an iHome Soft button to protect the Home Button as well.

Of Course, I've bought the black one.. Lol~

FYI , stick the iHome button wisely if you buys it.

My 1st iHome button pecah due to I tear it of from the Home button

when I stick it with wrong position.

Remember, position 1st before you stick on it.

Story telling :-

Title: RM45 Lesson

Had a very bad RM45 Lesson with Griffin Reveal Etch , which was,
I've deal with a guy selling a used Griffin Reveal Etch for RM45.
While we're dealing it, the condition was so horrible, o.O
But what to do, that fellow came all the way from Bangi,
So take it lo since he say those patch inside the case is nothing,
but when I reach home and take my phone out of the case,
I saw white patches on the back of my phone,
And can't wipe it off .. o.O
Luckily i have a protector film on the back of the phone,
Or ELSE i will be so GG !!

End up I get another brand new 1 through online at RM75,
so which means Rm75 + RM45 = RM120 ,
Almost the same price selling in Apple Store which is RM124.
Arrrrrghhhh.. !!! =.=!!!

I guess you are now thinking why didn't I ask for a refund right ??

I did asked for a refund of course, but he says he is taking Master in Biology
Bla Bla Bla ~~ for a long story and
In the end say fungus won be growing on plastic,
I know it won be growing fungus, but it looks just like it !
Well... then what is in the case that spread the white patches so fast ?? =.="
Anyway, there are lots of different people out there,
and their personality cant tell by their look (Even though they look pleasant and speaks softly).
